Question 1

What do hail 2017 MAZDA 6 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 18 recorded sales of the 2017 MAZDA 6 with hail damage, the median was $5,500, from $3,050 to $6,500. That is 49% above the $3,700 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

What does a certificate of title mean for this MAZDA 6?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 MAZDA 6 was sold on a certificate of title. The title type is the auction's own classification and determines what can legally be done with the vehicle afterwards.

Question 3

How far is this MAZDA 6 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in CO - LITTLETON. The nearest major vehicle export port is Houston, roughly 1,030 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $675-$975, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 MAZDA 6. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

This MAZDA 6 has hail and front end damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Is 169,025 miles high for a 2017 MAZDA 6?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 MAZDA 6 listings at auction averaged 82,460 miles across 296 sales, so at 169,025 miles this one sits 105% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
