Question 1

What do minor dent/scratches 2016 MAZDA 6 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 11 recorded sales of the 2016 MAZDA 6 with minor dent/scratches damage, the median was $3,550, from $3,100 to $5,500. That is 1% above the $3,500 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,100 a good price for this 2016 MAZDA 6?

Accepted Answer

283 comparable 2016 MAZDA 6 listings sold at auction for a median of $3,500, spanning $3,050 to $5,000. At $3,100 this one went 11% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this MAZDA 6 sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2016 MAZDA 6's pre-damage retail value at $8,841. It sold for $3,100 — 65% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2016 MAZDA 6. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

Is 127,232 miles high for a 2016 MAZDA 6?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 MAZDA 6 listings at auction averaged 93,950 miles across 283 sales, so at 127,232 miles this one sits 35% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

What does a salvage title mean for this MAZDA 6?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 MAZDA 6 was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.
