Question 1

Was $25,000 a good price for this 2018 LEXUS LS?

Accepted Answer

213 comparable 2018 LEXUS LS listings sold at auction for a median of $13,600, spanning $6,000 to $18,000. At $25,000 this one went 84% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

What does a clean title mean for this LEXUS LS?

Accepted Answer

This 2018 LEXUS LS was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 3

How far is this LEXUS LS from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in CT - EAST GRANBY. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 120 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2018 LEXUS LS. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

Is 111,889 miles high for a 2018 LEXUS LS?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 LEXUS LS listings at auction averaged 71,930 miles across 213 sales, so at 111,889 miles this one sits 56% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

Did this 2018 LEXUS LS come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with minor dent/scratches damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
