Question 1

What do front end 2017 LEXUS LS models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 36 recorded sales of the 2017 LEXUS LS with front end damage, the median was $6,500, from $3,250 to $12,700. That is 22% below the $8,363 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,650 a good price for this 2017 LEXUS LS?

Accepted Answer

79 comparable 2017 LEXUS LS listings sold at auction for a median of $8,363, spanning $3,850 to $14,600. At $3,650 this one went 56% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This LEXUS LS sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

What does a clean title mean for this LEXUS LS?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 LEXUS LS was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 5

How much below its undamaged value did this LEXUS LS sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2017 LEXUS LS's pre-damage retail value at $27,886. It sold for $3,650 — 87% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 6

This LEXUS LS has front end and rear end damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.
