Question 1

What do front end 2017 LEXUS LS models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 36 recorded sales of the 2017 LEXUS LS with front end damage, the median was $6,500, from $3,250 to $12,700. That is 22% below the $8,363 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,000 a good price for this 2017 LEXUS LS?

Accepted Answer

79 comparable 2017 LEXUS LS listings sold at auction for a median of $8,363, spanning $3,850 to $14,600. At $3,000 this one went 64% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This LEXUS LS sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

What does a salvage mean for this LEXUS LS?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 LEXUS LS was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 5

What does "NOT RUN" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

NOT RUN is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 LEXUS LS. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Is 69,877 miles high for a 2017 LEXUS LS?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 LEXUS LS listings at auction averaged 83,748 miles across 79 sales, so at 69,877 miles this one sits 17% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
