Question 1

Was $14,950 a good price for this 2018 LEXUS LS?

Accepted Answer

205 comparable 2018 LEXUS LS listings sold at auction for a median of $13,600, spanning $6,300 to $18,400. At $14,950 this one went 10% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

What does a bill of sale mean for this LEXUS LS?

Accepted Answer

This 2018 LEXUS LS was sold on a bill of sale. The title type is the auction's own classification and determines what can legally be done with the vehicle afterwards.

Question 3

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2018 LEXUS LS. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 4

Is 27,963 miles high for a 2018 LEXUS LS?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 LEXUS LS listings at auction averaged 71,827 miles across 205 sales, so at 27,963 miles this one sits 61% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

This LEXUS LS has left side and right front damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Where was this LEXUS LS located?

Accepted Answer

The lot was held at IAAI in HI - KAPOLEI. Location sets the inland transport cost to a port or a repair shop, and state title rules differ, so two otherwise identical cars can be worth noticeably different amounts.
