Question 1

What do front & rear 2022 LEXUS IS models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 19 recorded sales of the 2022 LEXUS IS with front & rear damage, the median was $8,850, from $5,500 to $16,250. That is 29% below the $12,525 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $16,250 a good price for this 2022 LEXUS IS?

Accepted Answer

387 comparable 2022 LEXUS IS listings sold at auction for a median of $12,525, spanning $5,700 to $19,700. At $16,250 this one went 30% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This LEXUS IS sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

How far is this LEXUS IS from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in GA - MACON. The nearest major vehicle export port is Savannah, roughly 250 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $300-$450, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

What does a salvage mean for this LEXUS IS?

Accepted Answer

This 2022 LEXUS IS was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 6

Is 25,360 miles high for a 2022 LEXUS IS?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2022 LEXUS IS listings at auction averaged 45,313 miles across 387 sales, so at 25,360 miles this one sits 44% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
