Question 1

What does a bill of sale mean for this LEXUS IS?

Accepted Answer

This 2020 LEXUS IS was sold on a bill of sale. The title type is the auction's own classification and determines what can legally be done with the vehicle afterwards.

Question 2

How far is this LEXUS IS from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in WA - SPOKANE VALLEY. The nearest major vehicle export port is Tacoma, roughly 60 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 3

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2020 LEXUS IS. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 4

Is 43,991 miles high for a 2020 LEXUS IS?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2020 LEXUS IS listings at auction averaged 66,379 miles across 269 sales, so at 43,991 miles this one sits 34% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

Did this 2020 LEXUS IS come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with roof damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 6

Who sold this 2020 LEXUS IS?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was STATE FARM INSURANCE. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.
