Question 1

What do front end 2019 LEXUS IS models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 198 recorded sales of the 2019 LEXUS IS with front end damage, the median was $6,500, from $3,900 to $9,800. That is 10% below the $7,188 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $5,600 a good price for this 2019 LEXUS IS?

Accepted Answer

431 comparable 2019 LEXUS IS listings sold at auction for a median of $7,188, spanning $4,150 to $11,400. At $5,600 this one went 22% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This LEXUS IS sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

What does a salvage mean for this LEXUS IS?

Accepted Answer

This 2019 LEXUS IS was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 5

Is 102,584 miles high for a 2019 LEXUS IS?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2019 LEXUS IS listings at auction averaged 74,796 miles across 431 sales, so at 102,584 miles this one sits 37% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

How far is this LEXUS IS from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in TX - PULASKI. The nearest major vehicle export port is Houston, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.
