Question 1

What do minor dent/scratches 2017 LEXUS GX models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 25 recorded sales of the 2017 LEXUS GX with minor dent/scratches damage, the median was $16,900, from $12,200 to $19,000. That is 27% above the $13,300 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $18,500 a good price for this 2017 LEXUS GX?

Accepted Answer

384 comparable 2017 LEXUS GX listings sold at auction for a median of $13,300, spanning $7,300 to $17,850. At $18,500 this one went 39% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a clean title mean for this LEXUS GX?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 LEXUS GX was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 4

Is 178,266 miles high for a 2017 LEXUS GX?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 LEXUS GX listings at auction averaged 113,525 miles across 384 sales, so at 178,266 miles this one sits 57% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

How far is this LEXUS GX from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in MA - NORTH BILLERICA. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 220 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $275-$400, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 LEXUS GX. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.
