Question 1

Was $26,750 a good price for this 2021 LEXUS GX?

Accepted Answer

343 comparable 2021 LEXUS GX listings sold at auction for a median of $21,100, spanning $9,600 to $27,750. At $26,750 this one went 27% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

This LEXUS GX sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this LEXUS GX sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2021 LEXUS GX's pre-damage retail value at $40,484. It sold for $26,750 — 34% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

How far is this LEXUS GX from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in TX - WILMER. The nearest major vehicle export port is Houston, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

What does a clean title mean for this LEXUS GX?

Accepted Answer

This 2021 LEXUS GX was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 6

Is 52,715 miles high for a 2021 LEXUS GX?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2021 LEXUS GX listings at auction averaged 62,123 miles across 343 sales, so at 52,715 miles this one sits 15% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
