Question 1

What do front end 2018 LEXUS GS models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 62 recorded sales of the 2018 LEXUS GS with front end damage, the median was $8,100, from $5,200 to $13,075. That is 13% below the $9,263 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $12,700 a good price for this 2018 LEXUS GS?

Accepted Answer

130 comparable 2018 LEXUS GS listings sold at auction for a median of $9,263, spanning $5,000 to $13,300. At $12,700 this one went 37% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this LEXUS GS sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2018 LEXUS GS's pre-damage retail value at $30,589. It sold for $12,700 — 58% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2018 LEXUS GS. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

Is 57,707 miles high for a 2018 LEXUS GS?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 LEXUS GS listings at auction averaged 79,558 miles across 130 sales, so at 57,707 miles this one sits 27% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

What does a salvage title mean for this LEXUS GS?

Accepted Answer

This 2018 LEXUS GS was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.
