Question 1

What do front end 2018 LEXUS GS models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 59 recorded sales of the 2018 LEXUS GS with front end damage, the median was $8,200, from $5,200 to $13,075. That is 12% below the $9,363 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $13,075 a good price for this 2018 LEXUS GS?

Accepted Answer

125 comparable 2018 LEXUS GS listings sold at auction for a median of $9,363, spanning $5,000 to $13,300. At $13,075 this one went 40% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a salvage mean for this LEXUS GS?

Accepted Answer

This 2018 LEXUS GS was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

How far is this LEXUS GS from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in MD - BALTIMORE. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 40 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

Is 41,917 miles high for a 2018 LEXUS GS?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 LEXUS GS listings at auction averaged 78,500 miles across 125 sales, so at 41,917 miles this one sits 47% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2018 LEXUS GS. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.
