Question 1

What do rear end 2019 LEXUS ES models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 219 recorded sales of the 2019 LEXUS ES with rear end damage, the median was $13,550, from $8,600 to $18,600. That is 4% above the $13,000 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $13,000 a good price for this 2019 LEXUS ES?

Accepted Answer

1295 comparable 2019 LEXUS ES listings sold at auction for a median of $13,000, spanning $6,800 to $17,400. At $13,000 this one went exactly at that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a clean title mean for this LEXUS ES?

Accepted Answer

This 2019 LEXUS ES was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 4

How far is this LEXUS ES from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in FL - HOMESTEAD. The nearest major vehicle export port is Jacksonville, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

Is 137,624 miles high for a 2019 LEXUS ES?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2019 LEXUS ES listings at auction averaged 78,577 miles across 1295 sales, so at 137,624 miles this one sits 75% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2019 LEXUS ES. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.
