Question 1

What do front end 2020 LEXUS ES models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 358 recorded sales of the 2020 LEXUS ES with front end damage, the median was $12,700, from $7,400 to $18,600. That is 5% below the $13,400 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $8,900 a good price for this 2020 LEXUS ES?

Accepted Answer

789 comparable 2020 LEXUS ES listings sold at auction for a median of $13,400, spanning $7,200 to $18,800. At $8,900 this one went 34% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This LEXUS ES sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

What does "ENHANCED" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENHANCED is the auction's own condition note for this 2020 LEXUS ES. It marks a lot the auction has given extra listing prominence, not a statement about condition. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

Is 38,129 miles high for a 2020 LEXUS ES?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2020 LEXUS ES listings at auction averaged 65,742 miles across 789 sales, so at 38,129 miles this one sits 42% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

This LEXUS ES has front end and rear end damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.
