Question 1

What do rear end 2018 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 86 recorded sales of the 2018 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER with rear end damage, the median was $13,800, from $5,400 to $19,100. That is 9% above the $12,700 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $14,700 a good price for this 2018 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER?

Accepted Answer

946 comparable 2018 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER listings sold at auction for a median of $12,700, spanning $5,200 to $19,900. At $14,700 this one went 16% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2018 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER's pre-damage retail value at $25,988. It sold for $14,700 — 43% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does "ENGINE STARTS" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENGINE STARTS is the auction's own condition note for this 2018 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER. It is a short status flag applied by the auction, not the result of a mechanical inspection. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

How far is this LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in KS - KANSAS CITY. The nearest major vehicle export port is Houston, roughly 700 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $450-$675, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

Is 85,650 miles high for a 2018 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER listings at auction averaged 88,240 miles across 946 sales, so at 85,650 miles this one sits 3% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
