Question 1

What do front end 2018 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 258 recorded sales of the 2018 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER with front end damage, the median was $11,500, from $5,100 to $17,700. That is 9% below the $12,700 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $13,100 a good price for this 2018 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER?

Accepted Answer

942 comparable 2018 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER listings sold at auction for a median of $12,700, spanning $5,200 to $19,900. At $13,100 this one went 3% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

What does a cert of title-salvage mean for this LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER?

Accepted Answer

This 2018 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER was sold on a cert of title-salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 5

How much below its undamaged value did this LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2018 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER's pre-damage retail value at $28,807. It sold for $13,100 — 55% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 6

Is 86,891 miles high for a 2018 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER listings at auction averaged 88,081 miles across 942 sales, so at 86,891 miles this one sits 1% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
