Question 1

Was $17,600 a good price for this 2016 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER?

Accepted Answer

1396 comparable 2016 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER listings sold at auction for a median of $6,600, spanning $3,800 to $10,650. At $17,600 this one went 167% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

This LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2016 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER's pre-damage retail value at $34,431. It sold for $17,600 — 49% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does a salvage title mean for this LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 5

What does "ENHANCED" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENHANCED is the auction's own condition note for this 2016 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER. It marks a lot the auction has given extra listing prominence, not a statement about condition. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Is 61,852 miles high for a 2016 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER listings at auction averaged 106,582 miles across 1396 sales, so at 61,852 miles this one sits 42% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
