Question 1

What do front end 2017 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 287 recorded sales of the 2017 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER with front end damage, the median was $7,750, from $4,050 to $14,000. That is 3% below the $8,000 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $4,050 a good price for this 2017 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER?

Accepted Answer

911 comparable 2017 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER listings sold at auction for a median of $8,000, spanning $4,150 to $14,100. At $4,050 this one went 49% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a salvage mean for this LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

What does "ENGINE STARTS" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENGINE STARTS is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER. It is a short status flag applied by the auction, not the result of a mechanical inspection. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

This LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER has front end and right side damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Is 123,051 miles high for a 2017 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER listings at auction averaged 97,063 miles across 911 sales, so at 123,051 miles this one sits 27% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
