Question 1

Was $15,100 a good price for this 2017 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER?

Accepted Answer

901 comparable 2017 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER listings sold at auction for a median of $8,100, spanning $4,150 to $14,100. At $15,100 this one went 86% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

How far is this LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in TX - GRAND PRAIRIE. The nearest major vehicle export port is Houston, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 3

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 4

Is 49,727 miles high for a 2017 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER listings at auction averaged 97,037 miles across 901 sales, so at 49,727 miles this one sits 49% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

Did this 2017 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with none damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 6

What can I find out from VIN SALGS2FE2HA320734?

Accepted Answer
