Question 1

What do hail 2016 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 11 recorded sales of the 2016 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER with hail damage, the median was $6,800, from $4,200 to $10,600. That is 3% above the $6,600 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $7,300 a good price for this 2016 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER?

Accepted Answer

1398 comparable 2016 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER listings sold at auction for a median of $6,600, spanning $3,800 to $10,650. At $7,300 this one went 11% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How far is this LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in TX - GRAND PRAIRIE. The nearest major vehicle export port is Houston, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

This LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER has hail and unknown damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 5

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2016 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Is 82,038 miles high for a 2016 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER listings at auction averaged 106,645 miles across 1398 sales, so at 82,038 miles this one sits 23% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
