Question 1

What do rear end 2016 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 13 recorded sales of the 2016 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY with rear end damage, the median was $3,300, from $3,000 to $4,550. That is 12% below the $3,750 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

This LAND ROVER DISCOVERY sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 3

What does a clean title mean for this LAND ROVER DISCOVERY?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 4

How far is this LAND ROVER DISCOVERY from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in TN - LEBANON. The nearest major vehicle export port is Savannah, roughly 400 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $350-$475, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

This LAND ROVER DISCOVERY has rear end and minor dent/scratches damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

What can I find out from VIN SALCT2BG8GH593735?

Accepted Answer

SALCT2BG8GH593735 identifies this specific 2016 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY in black with a 2.0l 4 engine, all wheel drive. This page covers its auction history only. For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.
