Question 1

What do water/flood 2017 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 24 recorded sales of the 2017 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY with water/flood damage, the median was $6,100, from $3,400 to $9,000. That is 11% above the $5,500 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

How far is this LAND ROVER DISCOVERY from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in FL - OPA LOCKA. The nearest major vehicle export port is Jacksonville, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 3

What does "ENGINE STARTS" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENGINE STARTS is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY. It is a short status flag applied by the auction, not the result of a mechanical inspection. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 4

Is 90,172 miles high for a 2017 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY listings at auction averaged 96,885 miles across 536 sales, so at 90,172 miles this one sits 7% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

Did this 2017 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with water/flood damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 6

What can I find out from VIN SALRRBBV9HA041422?

Accepted Answer

SALRRBBV9HA041422 identifies this specific 2017 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY in white with a 3.0l 6 engine, all wheel drive. This page covers its auction history only. For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.
