Question 1

What do minor dent/scratches 2017 KIA SEDONA models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 11 recorded sales of the 2017 KIA SEDONA with minor dent/scratches damage, the median was $3,550, from $3,150 to $4,000. That is level with the $3,550 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,039 a good price for this 2017 KIA SEDONA?

Accepted Answer

101 comparable 2017 KIA SEDONA listings sold at auction for a median of $3,550, spanning $3,050 to $4,850. At $3,039 this one went 14% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this KIA SEDONA sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2017 KIA SEDONA's pre-damage retail value at $6,875. It sold for $3,039 — 56% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does a clean title mean for this KIA SEDONA?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 KIA SEDONA was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 5

Is 127,824 miles high for a 2017 KIA SEDONA?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 KIA SEDONA listings at auction averaged 88,116 miles across 101 sales, so at 127,824 miles this one sits 45% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

How far is this KIA SEDONA from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in IL - CAHOKIA HEIGHTS. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 700 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $450-$675, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.
