Question 1

What does a clear mean for this KIA SEDONA?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 KIA SEDONA was sold on a clear. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 2

How far is this KIA SEDONA from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in SC - RAVENEL. The nearest major vehicle export port is Charleston, roughly 130 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 3

This KIA SEDONA has normal wear & tear and mechanical damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 4

Is 45,677 miles high for a 2017 KIA SEDONA?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 KIA SEDONA listings at auction averaged 88,063 miles across 102 sales, so at 45,677 miles this one sits 48% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

What can I find out from VIN KNDMA5C17H6284994?

Accepted Answer

KNDMA5C17H6284994 identifies this specific 2017 KIA SEDONA in silver with a 3.3l v-6 di, dohc, vvt, regular , 276hp engine, front wheel drive. This page covers its auction history only. For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.

Question 6

Did this 2017 KIA SEDONA come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with normal wear & tear damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
