Question 1

What do theft 2019 KIA OPTIMA models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 26 recorded sales of the 2019 KIA OPTIMA with theft damage, the median was $3,600, from $3,050 to $4,700. That is level with the $3,600 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $4,700 a good price for this 2019 KIA OPTIMA?

Accepted Answer

817 comparable 2019 KIA OPTIMA listings sold at auction for a median of $3,600, spanning $3,050 to $4,900. At $4,700 this one went 31% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a mv-907a-ny mean for this KIA OPTIMA?

Accepted Answer

This 2019 KIA OPTIMA was sold on a mv-907a-ny. The title type is the auction's own classification and determines what can legally be done with the vehicle afterwards.

Question 4

How far is this KIA OPTIMA from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in NY - MEDFORD. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 160 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2019 KIA OPTIMA. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

This KIA OPTIMA has theft and none damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.
