Question 1

What do rear 2016 KIA OPTIMA models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 31 recorded sales of the 2016 KIA OPTIMA with rear damage, the median was $3,400, from $3,050 to $4,350. That is 1% below the $3,450 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

What does a salvage mean for this KIA OPTIMA?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 KIA OPTIMA was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 3

Who sold this 2016 KIA OPTIMA?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was PROGRESSIVE. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.

Question 4

Did this 2016 KIA OPTIMA come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with rear damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 5

What can I find out from VIN 5XXGT4L3XGG018680?

Accepted Answer

5XXGT4L3XGG018680 identifies this specific 2016 KIA OPTIMA with a 2.4l i-4 di, dohc, vvt, regular , 185hp engine, front wheel drive. This page covers its auction history only. For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.

Question 6

Can I buy this 2016 KIA OPTIMA from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2016 KIA OPTIMA was listed at IAAI as lot 46532661 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
