Question 1

What do rear 2016 MAZDA CX-5 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 129 recorded sales of the 2016 MAZDA CX-5 with rear damage, the median was $3,800, from $3,175 to $5,050. That is 7% above the $3,550 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

What does a salvage mean for this MAZDA CX-5?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 MAZDA CX-5 was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 3

Is 72,501 miles high for a 2016 MAZDA CX-5?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 MAZDA CX-5 listings at auction averaged 113,257 miles across 2641 sales, so at 72,501 miles this one sits 36% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 4

Who sold this 2016 MAZDA CX-5?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was PROGRESSIVE. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.

Question 5

Did this 2016 MAZDA CX-5 come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with rear damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 6

Can I buy this 2016 MAZDA CX-5 from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2016 MAZDA CX-5 was listed at IAAI as lot 46527001 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
