Question 1

What do hail 2019 KIA NIRO models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 10 recorded sales of the 2019 KIA NIRO with hail damage, the median was $4,263, from $3,500 to $5,300. That is 1% below the $4,300 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

What does a clean title mean for this KIA NIRO?

Accepted Answer

This 2019 KIA NIRO was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 3

How far is this KIA NIRO from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in WI - MCFARLAND. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 850 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $550-$800, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2019 KIA NIRO. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

Is 85,811 miles high for a 2019 KIA NIRO?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2019 KIA NIRO listings at auction averaged 82,232 miles across 552 sales, so at 85,811 miles this one sits 4% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

Did this 2019 KIA NIRO come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with hail damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
