Question 1

What do mechanical 2019 KIA NIRO models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 14 recorded sales of the 2019 KIA NIRO with mechanical damage, the median was $3,800, from $3,100 to $4,350. That is 12% below the $4,325 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

What does a salvage title mean for this KIA NIRO?

Accepted Answer

This 2019 KIA NIRO was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 3

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2019 KIA NIRO. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 4

Is 228,787 miles high for a 2019 KIA NIRO?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2019 KIA NIRO listings at auction averaged 81,595 miles across 534 sales, so at 228,787 miles this one sits 180% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

Where was this KIA NIRO located?

Accepted Answer

The lot was held at COPART in QC - MONTREAL-EST. Location sets the inland transport cost to a port or a repair shop, and state title rules differ, so two otherwise identical cars can be worth noticeably different amounts.

Question 6

Did this 2019 KIA NIRO come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with mechanical damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
