Question 1

What do flood 2023 KIA FORTE models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 21 recorded sales of the 2023 KIA FORTE with flood damage, the median was $5,125, from $3,950 to $7,750. That is 6% above the $4,850 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $6,375 a good price for this 2023 KIA FORTE?

Accepted Answer

5407 comparable 2023 KIA FORTE listings sold at auction for a median of $4,850, spanning $3,375 to $7,600. At $6,375 this one went 31% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a salvage mean for this KIA FORTE?

Accepted Answer

This 2023 KIA FORTE was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

How far is this KIA FORTE from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in NY - MEDFORD. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 160 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

Is 12,799 miles high for a 2023 KIA FORTE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2023 KIA FORTE listings at auction averaged 43,873 miles across 5407 sales, so at 12,799 miles this one sits 71% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

What does "NOT RUN" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

NOT RUN is the auction's own condition note for this 2023 KIA FORTE. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.
