What do mechanical 2017 JEEP WRANGLER models sell for?

Across 34 recorded sales of the 2017 JEEP WRANGLER with mechanical damage, the median was $6,100, from $4,350 to $9,100. That is 1% below the $6,150 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Was $6,900 a good price for this 2017 JEEP WRANGLER?

2570 comparable 2017 JEEP WRANGLER listings sold at auction for a median of $6,150, spanning $3,750 to $9,400. At $6,900 this one went 12% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

What does a salvage-il mean for this JEEP WRANGLER?

This 2017 JEEP WRANGLER was sold on a salvage-il. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

What does "ENGINE STARTS" mean on this listing?

ENGINE STARTS is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 JEEP WRANGLER. It is a short status flag applied by the auction, not the result of a mechanical inspection. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

How far is this JEEP WRANGLER from an export port?

The lot sat at IAAI in IL - EAST DUNDEE. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 700 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $450-$675, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Is 58,248 miles high for a 2017 JEEP WRANGLER?

Comparable 2017 JEEP WRANGLER listings at auction averaged 98,178 miles across 2570 sales, so at 58,248 miles this one sits 41% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
