Question 1

What do front end 2018 JEEP WRANGLER models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 1526 recorded sales of the 2018 JEEP WRANGLER with front end damage, the median was $7,600, from $4,500 to $12,100. That is 4% below the $7,900 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $4,850 a good price for this 2018 JEEP WRANGLER?

Accepted Answer

3619 comparable 2018 JEEP WRANGLER listings sold at auction for a median of $7,900, spanning $4,500 to $12,400. At $4,850 this one went 39% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a salvage mean for this JEEP WRANGLER?

Accepted Answer

This 2018 JEEP WRANGLER was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

This JEEP WRANGLER has front end and suspension damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 5

How far is this JEEP WRANGLER from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in RI - KAPOLEI. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 190 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $225-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

Is 79,341 miles high for a 2018 JEEP WRANGLER?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 JEEP WRANGLER listings at auction averaged 94,871 miles across 3619 sales, so at 79,341 miles this one sits 16% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
