Question 1

What do front end 2017 JEEP WRANGLER models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 1126 recorded sales of the 2017 JEEP WRANGLER with front end damage, the median was $6,000, from $3,650 to $8,900. That is 2% below the $6,150 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $7,700 a good price for this 2017 JEEP WRANGLER?

Accepted Answer

2564 comparable 2017 JEEP WRANGLER listings sold at auction for a median of $6,150, spanning $3,750 to $9,400. At $7,700 this one went 25% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this JEEP WRANGLER sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2017 JEEP WRANGLER's pre-damage retail value at $19,317. It sold for $7,700 — 60% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

How far is this JEEP WRANGLER from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in FL - FORT PIERCE. The nearest major vehicle export port is Jacksonville, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

What does a non-repairable mean for this JEEP WRANGLER?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 JEEP WRANGLER was sold on a non-repairable. That is the most restrictive category: in most US states the vehicle cannot be retitled for road use and is intended for parts or export only. Import rules vary by country, so check locally before bidding.

Question 6

Is 68,400 miles high for a 2017 JEEP WRANGLER?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 JEEP WRANGLER listings at auction averaged 98,181 miles across 2564 sales, so at 68,400 miles this one sits 30% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
