Question 1

What do rear end 2016 JEEP WRANGLER models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 158 recorded sales of the 2016 JEEP WRANGLER with rear end damage, the median was $5,800, from $3,750 to $9,100. That is 5% above the $5,500 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $8,700 a good price for this 2016 JEEP WRANGLER?

Accepted Answer

2512 comparable 2016 JEEP WRANGLER listings sold at auction for a median of $5,500, spanning $3,500 to $8,575. At $8,700 this one went 58% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a salvage title mean for this JEEP WRANGLER?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 JEEP WRANGLER was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

How far is this JEEP WRANGLER from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in KY - LOUISVILLE. The nearest major vehicle export port is Savannah, roughly 500 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $425-$600, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2016 JEEP WRANGLER. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Is 66,016 miles high for a 2016 JEEP WRANGLER?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 JEEP WRANGLER listings at auction averaged 105,481 miles across 2512 sales, so at 66,016 miles this one sits 37% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
