Question 1

What do front & rear 2019 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 53 recorded sales of the 2019 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE with front & rear damage, the median was $5,700, from $3,675 to $8,600. That is 8% above the $5,300 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $17,800 a good price for this 2019 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE?

Accepted Answer

4624 comparable 2019 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE listings sold at auction for a median of $5,300, spanning $3,350 to $9,675. At $17,800 this one went 236% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

Is 88,735 miles high for a 2019 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2019 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE listings at auction averaged 89,316 miles across 4624 sales, so at 88,735 miles this one sits 1% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

How far is this JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in TX - HOUSTON. The nearest major vehicle export port is Houston, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

What does "NOT RUN" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

NOT RUN is the auction's own condition note for this 2019 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.
