Question 1

What do theft 2017 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 24 recorded sales of the 2017 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE with theft damage, the median was $8,025, from $3,550 to $18,600. That is 71% above the $4,700 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $8,500 a good price for this 2017 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE?

Accepted Answer

4393 comparable 2017 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE listings sold at auction for a median of $4,700, spanning $3,300 to $7,800. At $8,500 this one went 81% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

What does a salvage mean for this JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 5

Is 104,449 miles high for a 2017 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE listings at auction averaged 113,011 miles across 4393 sales, so at 104,449 miles this one sits 8% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

How far is this JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in OR - VANCOUVER. The nearest major vehicle export port is Tacoma, roughly 180 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $225-$325, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.
