Question 1

What do front end 2017 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 2084 recorded sales of the 2017 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE with front end damage, the median was $4,500, from $3,250 to $7,200. That is 4% below the $4,700 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

How far is this JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in KY - LAWRENCEBURG. The nearest major vehicle export port is Savannah, roughly 500 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $425-$600, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 3

What does "ENGINE STARTS" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENGINE STARTS is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE. It is a short status flag applied by the auction, not the result of a mechanical inspection. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 4

Is 152,154 miles high for a 2017 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE listings at auction averaged 112,971 miles across 4387 sales, so at 152,154 miles this one sits 35% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

Did this 2017 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with front end damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 6

What can I find out from VIN 1C4RJFBG5HC777172?

Accepted Answer

For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.
