Question 1

What do mechanical 2017 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 82 recorded sales of the 2017 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE with mechanical damage, the median was $4,500, from $3,250 to $7,300. That is 3% below the $4,650 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $7,500 a good price for this 2017 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE?

Accepted Answer

4481 comparable 2017 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE listings sold at auction for a median of $4,650, spanning $3,275 to $7,800. At $7,500 this one went 61% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a clean title mean for this JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 4

How far is this JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in NJ - WINDSOR. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 30 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

This JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE has mechanical and normal wear damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Is 117,756 miles high for a 2017 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE listings at auction averaged 112,864 miles across 4481 sales, so at 117,756 miles this one sits 4% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
