Question 1

What do front end 2015 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 37 recorded sales of the 2015 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE with front end damage, the median was $4,288, from $3,250 to $5,875. That is level with the $4,300 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,200 a good price for this 2015 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE?

Accepted Answer

91 comparable 2015 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE listings sold at auction for a median of $4,300, spanning $3,175 to $6,700. At $3,200 this one went 26% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2015 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE's pre-damage retail value at $16,421. It sold for $3,200 — 81% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2015 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

How far is this JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in TN - LEBANON. The nearest major vehicle export port is Savannah, roughly 400 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $350-$475, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

Is 102,115 miles high for a 2015 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2015 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE listings at auction averaged 118,928 miles across 91 sales, so at 102,115 miles this one sits 14% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
