Question 1

What do front end 2017 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 2128 recorded sales of the 2017 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE with front end damage, the median was $4,450, from $3,250 to $7,200. That is 4% below the $4,650 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,250 a good price for this 2017 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE?

Accepted Answer

4491 comparable 2017 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE listings sold at auction for a median of $4,650, spanning $3,300 to $7,800. At $3,250 this one went 30% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

What does "NOT RUN" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

NOT RUN is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

How far is this JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in MO - CASEYVILLE. The nearest major vehicle export port is Houston, roughly 780 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $500-$750, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

Is 58,034 miles high for a 2017 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE listings at auction averaged 112,829 miles across 4491 sales, so at 58,034 miles this one sits 49% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
