Was $6,700 a good price for this 2015 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE?

91 comparable 2015 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE listings sold at auction for a median of $4,300, spanning $3,175 to $6,700. At $6,700 this one went 56% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

What does a salvage-in mean for this JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE?

This 2015 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE was sold on a salvage-in. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

How far is this JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE from an export port?

The lot sat at IAAI in IN - SOUTH BEND. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 600 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $500-$725, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2015 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Is 121,132 miles high for a 2015 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE?

Comparable 2015 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE listings at auction averaged 118,928 miles across 91 sales, so at 121,132 miles this one sits 2% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Did this 2015 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE come with keys?

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with front & rear damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
