Question 1

What do water/flood 2020 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 34 recorded sales of the 2020 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE with water/flood damage, the median was $5,600, from $3,700 to $7,500. That is 7% below the $6,000 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $8,000 a good price for this 2020 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE?

Accepted Answer

4112 comparable 2020 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE listings sold at auction for a median of $6,000, spanning $3,550 to $11,200. At $8,000 this one went 33% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How far is this JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in WV - HURRICANE. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 300 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2020 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

Is 66,638 miles high for a 2020 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2020 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE listings at auction averaged 77,065 miles across 4112 sales, so at 66,638 miles this one sits 14% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

Did this 2020 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with water/flood damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
