What do rear end 2022 HYUNDAI SONATA models sell for?

Across 299 recorded sales of the 2022 HYUNDAI SONATA with rear end damage, the median was $6,250, from $3,850 to $9,300. That is 13% above the $5,550 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Was $7,800 a good price for this 2022 HYUNDAI SONATA?

1781 comparable 2022 HYUNDAI SONATA listings sold at auction for a median of $5,550, spanning $3,650 to $8,775. At $7,800 this one went 41% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

How much below its undamaged value did this HYUNDAI SONATA sell for?

The insurer put this 2022 HYUNDAI SONATA's pre-damage retail value at $21,256. It sold for $7,800 — 63% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

What does a clean title mean for this HYUNDAI SONATA?

This 2022 HYUNDAI SONATA was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

How far is this HYUNDAI SONATA from an export port?

The lot sat at COPART in LA - GREENWELL SPRINGS. The nearest major vehicle export port is New Orleans, roughly 130 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Is 60,313 miles high for a 2022 HYUNDAI SONATA?

Comparable 2022 HYUNDAI SONATA listings at auction averaged 58,022 miles across 1781 sales, so at 60,313 miles this one sits 4% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
