Question 1

What do rear 2016 HYUNDAI SONATA models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 12 recorded sales of the 2016 HYUNDAI SONATA with rear damage, the median was $3,500, from $3,100 to $4,100. That is 3% above the $3,400 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

This HYUNDAI SONATA has rear and right rear damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 3

Is 134,301 miles high for a 2016 HYUNDAI SONATA?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 HYUNDAI SONATA listings at auction averaged 82,384 miles across 402 sales, so at 134,301 miles this one sits 63% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 4

Who sold this 2016 HYUNDAI SONATA?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was PROGRESSIVE. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.

Question 5

What can I find out from VIN 5NPE34AF3GH277164?

Accepted Answer

5NPE34AF3GH277164 identifies this specific 2016 HYUNDAI SONATA in silver with a 2.4l i-4 di, dohc, vvt, regular , 185hp engine, front wheel drive. This page covers its auction history only. For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.

Question 6

Did this 2016 HYUNDAI SONATA come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with rear damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
