Question 1

What do rear end 2015 HONDA ODYSSEY models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 13 recorded sales of the 2015 HONDA ODYSSEY with rear end damage, the median was $4,975, from $3,200 to $6,600. That is 1% above the $4,938 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $4,550 a good price for this 2015 HONDA ODYSSEY?

Accepted Answer

97 comparable 2015 HONDA ODYSSEY listings sold at auction for a median of $4,938, spanning $3,675 to $7,400. At $4,550 this one went 8% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a certificate of salvage mean for this HONDA ODYSSEY?

Accepted Answer

This 2015 HONDA ODYSSEY was sold on a certificate of salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

What does "RUNS AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUNS AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2015 HONDA ODYSSEY. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

How far is this HONDA ODYSSEY from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in PA - YORK HAVEN. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 150 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

Is 88,960 miles high for a 2015 HONDA ODYSSEY?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2015 HONDA ODYSSEY listings at auction averaged 122,945 miles across 97 sales, so at 88,960 miles this one sits 28% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
