Question 1

What do left side 2016 HONDA ODYSSEY models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 50 recorded sales of the 2016 HONDA ODYSSEY with left side damage, the median was $3,700, from $3,200 to $5,150. That is 10% below the $4,100 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,650 a good price for this 2016 HONDA ODYSSEY?

Accepted Answer

1546 comparable 2016 HONDA ODYSSEY listings sold at auction for a median of $4,100, spanning $3,150 to $6,700. At $3,650 this one went 11% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How far is this HONDA ODYSSEY from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in CA - PERRIS. The nearest major vehicle export port is Long Beach, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

What does "ENGINE STARTS" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENGINE STARTS is the auction's own condition note for this 2016 HONDA ODYSSEY. It is a short status flag applied by the auction, not the result of a mechanical inspection. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

This HONDA ODYSSEY has left side and suspension damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Is 72,002 miles high for a 2016 HONDA ODYSSEY?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 HONDA ODYSSEY listings at auction averaged 107,748 miles across 1546 sales, so at 72,002 miles this one sits 33% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
