Question 1

What do front end 2018 HONDA ODYSSEY models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 811 recorded sales of the 2018 HONDA ODYSSEY with front end damage, the median was $5,700, from $3,700 to $8,150. That is 5% below the $6,000 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,750 a good price for this 2018 HONDA ODYSSEY?

Accepted Answer

2058 comparable 2018 HONDA ODYSSEY listings sold at auction for a median of $6,000, spanning $3,800 to $9,200. At $3,750 this one went 37% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this HONDA ODYSSEY sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2018 HONDA ODYSSEY's pre-damage retail value at $14,275. It sold for $3,750 — 74% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

This HONDA ODYSSEY has front end and side damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 5

What does a salvage title mean for this HONDA ODYSSEY?

Accepted Answer

This 2018 HONDA ODYSSEY was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 6

Is 188,722 miles high for a 2018 HONDA ODYSSEY?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 HONDA ODYSSEY listings at auction averaged 110,394 miles across 2058 sales, so at 188,722 miles this one sits 71% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
