Question 1

What do left rear 2016 HONDA CIVIC models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 95 recorded sales of the 2016 HONDA CIVIC with left rear damage, the median was $3,950, from $3,125 to $5,500. That is 3% above the $3,850 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

What does a ns-salvage-nova scotia mean for this HONDA CIVIC?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 HONDA CIVIC was sold on a ns-salvage-nova scotia. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 3

What does "ENGINE STARTS" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENGINE STARTS is the auction's own condition note for this 2016 HONDA CIVIC. It is a short status flag applied by the auction, not the result of a mechanical inspection. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 4

Is 159,055 miles high for a 2016 HONDA CIVIC?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 HONDA CIVIC listings at auction averaged 113,842 miles across 6521 sales, so at 159,055 miles this one sits 40% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

Did this 2016 HONDA CIVIC come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with left rear damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 6

Can I buy this 2016 HONDA CIVIC from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2016 HONDA CIVIC was listed at IAAI as lot 12717557 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
