Question 1

What does a bc-normal-british columbia mean for this VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT?

Accepted Answer

This 2022 VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT was sold on a bc-normal-british columbia. The title type is the auction's own classification and determines what can legally be done with the vehicle afterwards.

Question 2

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2022 VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 3

This VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT has left rear and rear damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 4

Is 86,873 miles high for a 2022 VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2022 VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT listings at auction averaged 66,256 miles across 265 sales, so at 86,873 miles this one sits 31% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

Did this 2022 VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with left rear damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 6

Can I buy this 2022 VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2022 VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT was listed at IAAI as lot 12749211 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
